| RON “AHAB” BROADUS Ron has fished for speckled trout and redfish for over 40 years. His father started taking him saltwater fishing when he was a small boy and his obsession with fishing South Louisiana marshes began at an early age. He was given the nickname Ahab because of that obsession and it has stuck with him after he acquired his Captain’s license. Capt Ahab has been saltwater guiding for 7 years with the last 2 being exclusively for our lodge. He is especially good with kids and makes every trip a learning experience for his crew. |

| ROB “REDBONE” MARTIN Rob used to stay in camps on Lake Pontchartrain with his parents for weeks at a time since he could walk. At the age of 5 when they would run out of bait he would dive off the pier, dig up clams out of the sand and use them to catch fish. From the beginning he fit into fishing like a key in a lock. He now makes the Speculizer – a speckled trout lure used along the entire gulf coast that has been very popular for the past 3 years. He has placed as high as third recently in local redfish tournaments. |
